From Breck, we headed straight up the mountain and crossed over the next pass.
We had lots of downhill for most of the rest of the day. Thank goodness for shifters that work on Chris's bike!
Camp setup in Buena vista for the night
Next day: back to climbing mountains on our way to Gunnison. We even got to wait out a big rain storm at the top of Monarch Pass.
Fran also made a mess and spilled an OPENED container of spaghetti in Safeway... then tried to clean up oops.
Next Day: After Gunnison, we biked by Black Canyon of the Gunnison Natl Park on our way to Montrose.
Next Day: to Telluride

Red rocks up to Telluride!
We made it to Telluride and instantly fell in love. This is a town based around skiing in the winter and biking in the summer. Oh yeah and it's nestled into the mountains.

Our amazing hosts Max and Hillary took their dogs for a bike ride in the morning and boy were they tired out in the afternoon
After a rest day, we sadly had to head out, but the blues passed by quickly due to views like these
Chris hit 4000 miles on the trip
Then it was off for another National Park, Mesa Verde
We took a guided tour of Balcony House dwelling and got to go around and into the dwellings
Now it's off to Utah
